This special dress is handmade completely from scratch using fabric I hand painted and hand printed with my original artwork.  Like all of my garments and accessories – this dress is My original design and one of a kind.

I used two fabrics for this dress:

• black silky rayon/cotton jersey knit fabric that I hand painted to create a beautiful mysterious textured base (all dark colors like red, bronze, plum and gold) – I hand printed over the textured fabric using many of my original hand drawn designs like lines/dots, anemone, retro flower, fern and allium/starburst and many many colors like metallic copper, teal, gold, dark red, bronze, black, gold & silver to make this incredible art print that completely covers the fabric and changes throughout the print
• black silky rayon/cotton jersey knit fabric that I hand printed with my original twigs design and metallic gold ink to make this beautiful skinny stripes print that completely covers the fabric and changes throughout the print

I gave this dress a beautiful shape and lots of special details:

• deep plunge v neckline
• long deep-set belled sleeves
• tapered waist with draw-string
• generously wide straight hem that falls much longer on the sides
• contrast trim on the hem
• all finished edges
• signature FINK style stitching on front and back
• contrast draw string made with both prints (mostly showing the stripes print – see images)
• this rayon fabric drapes beautifully

This dress is like no other in the world – the print alone is a work of layers upon layers of original art that is all hand painted and manually hand printed (there is no way to replicate my prints exactly and each print I make is truly one of a kind…this one is many many prints layered over and over! very special)  The details are marvelous and the way the hem cascades on the sides is so magical. Delicate in ways and bold and powerful visually. Feminine and very special.

Measured Flat – *Please keep in  mind I used a soft cotton/lycra jersey knit fabric and it has a lot of stretch/give which makes sizing a bit flexible and fitted pieces very comfortable.

Waist is adjustable…best for 26-28″ waist

Hips are free (super duper wide hips/hem – drapes beautifully as seen in photos)

Approx 34.5″ from shoulder to hem

Sleeves are just about 21″ from under arm/armpit to cuff
